Thanksgiving Menu 2011

This year, instead of going home, my parents and grandparents will travel to Gainesville to celebrate Thanksgiving with me and my brother. I am super excited about this because I get to host! This means putting together and a killer menu and serving homemade food to the people I love most. The menu is tentatively listed below and individual recipes will probably get posted after the event with pictures! Turkey day is almost here!!

Thanksgiving Menu 2011

Appetizer:
Scallion Cheddar Biscuits

Soup & Salad
Maple Butternut Squash Soup
Salad – spring mix, candied pecans, apples, sunflower seeds, goat cheese crumbles

Main Course:
Turkey Breast & Gravy
Homemade Cranberry Sauce

Side Dishes:
Roasted Green beans with sliced Almonds
Mashed Sweet Potatoes with Marshmallows
Pumpkin Sage Cornbread Stuffing

Dessert:
Spiced Apple & Pear Pie
Pumpkin Ginger Bread Trifles

Drink:
Wine
Homemade Apple Cider

    We are so excited to share Thanksgiving with you! How honored to be the guests at a granddaughter’s feast…It doesn’t happen very often.

    Your menu sound scrumptious. Ta loves squash soup.I love cornbread stuffing. I am going on a diet/exercise progam tomorrow to get in shape for this holiday celebration.. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
